Embrace
€299,00
Embrace is at home in any interior because of its natural and delicate look and has a deep significance to you thanks to its special use.
The urn has a special cavity at the bottom for the ashes of your deceased loved one, while there is a space for a plant to grow at the top.
Each Embrace is crafted by hand from ash wood, a lighter coloured wood with a beautiful grain that gives each urn its own unique look.
The top is delicately finished with a matt white edge, creating a lovely contrast with the green of the plant.
You buy the plant of your choice yourself.
We provide the Embrace with a white, plastic pot for the plant, that fits inside the urn. This ensures that the wood of the Embrace stays protected and is not in direct contact with any moisture.

After he died, my father was cremated and according to his wishes, the ashes were scattered at sea. At home, I have a lovely box with precious items on the cabinet.
Until I came across Memories to Keep on Facebook, and their beautiful wooden mini urns. But what could I put in it, since there were no ashes anymore? Looking through the precious items, I found a lock of hair that had been cut off when he was very young and a tiny locket with a photo of my father at the age when the lock of hair had been cut off.
And I knew right away! These were both going to go in the beautiful wooden urn. I ordered it from Memories to Keep and when it was delivered to my home, it was very emotional. Finally, I could keep something of my father close to me. I put just the lock of hair and the locket in the urn and it now stands on the cabinet in the living room. Sometimes I hold it in my hand and think back on the lovely times I had with my father.
Harm, Memories to Keep, thank you for this beautiful urn in which the memories can be preserved forever.

I always found the idea of urns so uncomfortable, a bit creepy and on display. That was the reason for me to never want one in the house. I am happy to have found this beautiful little wooden urn. I can hold it for a while, it looks beautiful and no one can tell immediately that it is an urn. This way I can always keep my dear aunt close by. Thank you, Harm, worth a lot to me.

The Moon is quite a bit bigger than the LittleWood mini urn but it still has a format you can cuddle and hold easily. The urn has a soft finish and is inviting to the touch. The grain in the wood can be clearly seen. The urn is closed with a neat stainless-steel lid which is engraved. What makes it all very subtle is that there's a trim integrated in the edge which gives a lovely finish. What I personally like about the Moon is that it doesn't immediately look like an urn. That way, Mum can be with us without us being unable to move forward.
