After he died, my father was cremated and according to his wishes, the ashes were scattered at sea. At home, I have a lovely box with precious items on the cabinet. Looking through the precious items, I found a lock of hair that had been cut off when he was very young and a tiny locket with a photo of my father at the age when the lock of hair had been cut off.
